BAFFLE DISTRIBUTOR
The Baffle Distributors are free surface intake equipment designed to supply controllable constant flow.
The flow is set to any required value by fully opening or closing the small gates with different spans. Once the distributor is locked at a given number of gates opened, the flow remains constant even though upstream and downstream water levels may vary to some extent.
RESERVOIR WITH BLADER FOR WATER HAMMER PROTECTION
Designed to water hammer control in pumping stations as well as hydraulic circuits, there is a wide range of solutions available, among them, hydropneumatic reservoirs. We have improved its concept and studied an alternative to this hydropneumatic reservoir, developing a process which function is to isolate the liquid from the compressed air.
This process differs from conventional hydropneumatic ones by placing a polyurethane bladder.
The isolation from the two fluids it is not necessary to use auxiliary compressors to permanent compressed air replacement which emulsifies in water, and consequently it rescues the pressure recuperation from the service. As a result of this concept, one will have cost reduction in maintenance and better safe and confiability in protecting the circuit.
Low Cost
The isolation of two fluids allows to work with high pressure. Besides this, there is no constant supplying necessity of compressed air, causing a reduction of high acquisition cost, as well as auxiliaries and compressor maintenance.
Safety
The bladder conception eliminates any contact from the liquid with metallic parts. The corrosion risk in this case is reduced in metallic parts from the reservoir and it can be eliminated when inert gas is used. In this case, it is recommended the use of nitrogen, as industrial safety procedures only, although the use of compressed air is not restricted.
The used polyurethane is the same applied in food industry. Due to this technique, no contamination risk is occured, eliminating the possibility of any undesirable taste or smell in water. It can be applied with potable water.
The ASME code, Divison I and Section III, for pressure vases is used to measure, manufacture and inspect all tanks. For a complete quality guarantee in supplying, all tanks are pressure hydrostatic tested 1.3 time the nominal pressure or under pressure in accordance to the standard.
